Main Research Fields

Engaged in research and application transformation in the field of high performance computing, especially

in parallel computing and heterogeneous computing. Our project is applied in various industries such

as oil exploration, weather forecast, life sciences and internet security. Many high performance computing

optimization projects have been carried out successfully in cooperation with numbers of well-known

enterprises. As one of the pioneers in heterogeneous computing in China, we have published a book named

High-Performance Computing on the Intel® Xeon Phi™, of which I am the principal author.

I have years of experience in deep learning and have completed several deep learning projects. I have

developed the MPI parallel version of the famous framework caffe and give back to the open source community.

My current major research interest is design and development of automated data acquisition tools.
